6 whole months! +a few pics

At first, that water was too cold, but he got used to it and seemed to like it.

Swimming makes you so good and tired.

Jamie turned six months yesterday. I remember looking at the 6-9 mo size clothes and thinking how big they were, and how far into the future he would wear them. Sheesh. :) Now I feel that way about 12-18 mo, and I'm sure that will be here before I know it, too!

• Weighs: about 17 lbs. Don't have an exact weight because his dr appt isn't for another couple of weeks.
• Height: :( not sure...see reason above...
• Eats: 5-6 oz ev 3+ hours, and we're just about to start him on solid foods. He's so ready. Tries to steal our big people food sometimes and watches us so intently while we eat.
  He's actually had some "solids," because we couldn't resist--little bits of frozen yogurt, and he's partaken of a couple strawberry popsicles. (Had to be removed from Mommy's arms so she could finish it in peace, because he didn't want to stop sucking on it. :))
  We also think he's teething based on lots of drooling, chewing, and fussing. None showing yet.
• Sleeps: through the night usually, although the last few days he's been waking up at 3 or 4 a.m. Boo.
• Bedtime: is transitioning to 8:30. Yay!
• Naps: still varies. Seems like it's been 3 or 4 per day lately.
• Enjoys: bath time--splashing by kicking his feet, trying to catch the water when Mommy pours it on him; his Daddy-clown, as we call him; in just the past two days, sticking his narrow, long little tongue out and saying "Bah, bah, blah, blah"—so dang cute; blowing raspberries; drinking his daily ration of grape juice (he's prone to constipation :( ); lying on his back and kicking; "playing" (kicking, really) the piano with Mommy; swimming at Uncle Rob's; being entertained in general.

I regretted not doing this when he turned 5 months, because when I went back to do the baby book, I had to kind of guess at some stuff. So, again, lots of detail. :)
