Scratch that, actually, and make it two!

Uncle Rob came over last Wednesday, I think it was, and while he was feeling Jamie's mouth for the tooth, he found...ANOTHER one right next to it!

So Jamie's two bottom front teeth have both come in, or rather are still coming up, and we think he might be getting more because he continues to be fussy. I don't blame him, those little suckers are sharp!

On the solid foods front: We've tried pureed green beans, and he wasn't having that. (I really don't blame him on that. They smelled awful and looked like pureed Kermit.) He was looking at us like, "Why are you torturing me? I thought you loved me!" Today I made more and mixed just one baby spoonful in with his regular barley cereal and formula, and although he made an Ick face at first, he did eagerly finish the whole bowl. So I'm going to keep upping it little by little and see how far he'll let me go.

It is so much fun making baby food (I'll probably be sick of it by like, the fourth kid, but I love filling those ice cube trays for now!) and knowing that I'm saving money and giving Jamie wholesome, fresh foods! Check out the website that is my homemade baby food Bible. They clearly don't proofread like they should, and the typos bug me, but other than that it's been great, very informative and helpful.

So Addison thinks he's a man now and doesn't do the whole "baby food" thing, so we have like a ton of homemade baby food in the freezer. I'll ask Ape if she's done with it and pass it along. Its peas, carrots, and some sweet potatoes I think. :D

Hahaha! Pureed Kermit - so true!!! Yeah, I do baby food the same way and love it. Bryce gets mad though, because there's never any actual ice in the ice trays.

How cool! I have been waiting anxiously for Chloe's little whitey titeys to come out. She has me in suspense right now, and I can't wait to see em pop out of those pink gummies! Congrats on your second toothie, Jamie!!

For my next kid I am going to make my own baby food for sure. I wish I did it with the first two but I never really thought about it.

YAY! Teeth! Don't you love them?? LOL! Addison has his two bottom teeth coming in too...and he's got a hard bite these days! OUCH! I haven't tried to puree yet, but it sounds like a great idea! Hope it keeps working out for you!! :)
